In order to transfer your securities to our depository for servicing, you first need to make sure that the registrar maintaining their core register is accredited with our depository. An up-to-date list of registrars is available here. If your registrar is not on this list, we are likely to be able to establish a relationship with it fairly quickly – subject to an agreement to accept your securities for servicing.
Issuers can transfer their entire issue (known in foreign jurisdictions as a “global certificate”) for servicing, so that in the future transactions with these securities would pass through the accounts of our depositary, and not the registrar. To do this, you, the Issuer, must instruct your registrar in writing accordingly; our omnibus account with the registrar will need to be set up in the process, unless we already have one.
